Although usually associated with rain forests, a
few dozen ocelots still remain as far North as
the shrublands of Southern Texas. They become
active at night, along with the poisonous,
hallucinogenic Sacred datura (aka Jimsonweed,
moonflower) which blooms in the late
afternoon/evening and closes in the morning.
